Wild Heart

Take your shot

You only get one shot at this life.

One chance to wake up each morning and decide who you will be.

One chance to love the people around you.

One chance to pursue the dreams God placed in your heart.

One chance to become the woman you were created to be.

Yet so many of us spend our lives waiting.

Waiting until we’re less afraid.

Waiting until we have more money.

Waiting until the kids are older.

Waiting until we feel confident.

Waiting until someone gives us permission.

But what if permission was never the thing you needed?

What if the life you’ve been longing for is waiting on the other side of one brave step?

I think many women have a wild heart tucked away beneath years of responsibility, disappointment, fear, and expectations. Not wild in a reckless sense. Wild in the sense that God created us for adventure, purpose, creativity, courage, and freedom.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to play it safe.

We stopped trying.

We stopped dreaming.

We stopped believing that something new could still happen.

But the truth is that stepping out brings life.

The moment you try something new, life stirs.

The moment you have the difficult conversation, life stirs.

The moment you write the book, start the business, join the group, take the trip, plant the garden, learn the skill, or share your story, life stirs.

Not because everything suddenly becomes easy.

But because you begin living instead of merely existing.

You don’t have to look like everyone else.

You don’t have to follow the script someone else wrote for your life.

You don’t have to fit into a mold that was never designed for you.

It’s okay to live differently.

It’s okay to follow God’s calling even when others don’t understand.

It’s okay to be the woman who grows, changes, learns, and becomes.

It’s okay to be REAL.

Rooted in Christ.

Empowered by His Spirit.

Authentic in who He created you to be.

Loved beyond measure.

This life is a gift.

Don’t spend it sitting on the sidelines.

Your heart was made for more than survival.

It was made to live.

So today, ask yourself:

What is holding me back?

And perhaps an even more important question:

What would happen if I finally took one brave step forward?

You only get one shot.

Live it fully.

Live it courageously.

Live it REAL.
